On June 24, 2025, the INFORB project implementation team finalized the study aimed at assessing the level of digital maturity and cybersecurity practices in food companies. The analysis focused on the organizational characteristics (size, location, activity profile) and the IT&C infrastructure used, including the ways in which cybersecurity services are implemented or outsourced.
The study aimed to identify the main perceived cyber risks and threats in the sector, based on survey data and qualitative analysis (including open-ended responses on security issues), as well as to highlight significant variations depending on factors such as the size of the organization or geographical region.
The results provide a solid basis for improving sector-wide safeguards, strengthening public-private cooperation and targeting corrective actions in line with the NIS 2 Directive.
